Samuel Beckett (b. April 13): “We are all born mad.”

Samuel Beckett (born 13 April 1906, died 22 December 1989) was an Irish author best known for his plays, but he also wrote novels and for radio and television. He is known for Waiting for Godot. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1969.
